Steps How to Register *Please follow these steps carefully.*

> Supporting Documents Required
Gather all the required supporting documents listed below.
Proof of your child’s age/legal name (birth certificate or passport)
Proof of your address in Ottawa (recent) (rental or purchase agreement, utility bill, bank statement.) (Driver’s license is not accepted)
Recent Report Card (Mandatory for all)
Transcript (Applicable for Grades 10-12)
Credit Counselling Summary or Status Sheet (Applicable for Grades 10-12)
Immigration Documents (if applicable) (New to Canada? Please see our Family Welcome Center)
Legal Documents: special guardianship, access or custody situations (if applicable)
IEP (Individual Education Plan), Psychological Assessment (if applicable)
Scan/photograph the required documents listed above. Save them all.
Upload the required documents at the end of the Application Form.

Out of Board Students: Complete the Online Registration Application Form
Transferring within the OCSB: Complete this online transfer form OCSB School Transfer Form
(Note: If you are coming from one of our OCSB feeder schools listed below, you are not required to register. Please notify your current school of your next school selection.)
> What happens after we register?
Online Registration Appointment: Once the registration package is fully complete and has been processed you will receive an email from our Guidance Department regarding an online registration appointment with our guidance counsellors.
Course Selection (Gr 9-12): After the online registration appointment with our guidance counsellors, you will be directed to submit course selection to the Guidance Counsellor.

Current and future St. Francis Xavier parents are invited to attend our parent information sessions in person on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.
There will be presentations for students and parents about the upcoming 2023-24 school year. No sign up required, it is an open information session.
Schedule of presentations:
6:00 PM - Students transitioning from Gr. 6 to Gr. 7 > (Tile Floor Gym)
6:00 PM - Gr. 9-12 (ESL) English Second Language Information Session > (Learning Commons)
7:00 PM - Students transitioning from Gr. 8 into Gr. 9 > (Tile Floor Gym)
7:00 PM - Gr. 10-12 Course Information Session > (Learning Commons)
Tours will be conducted by Student Ambassadors at 5:30pm and at the conclusion of the first presentation at approximately 6:45pm.
