High School Academic Awards Ceremony
Takes place on Thursday, September 17 at 4:00 PM. This special event celebrates the hard work, dedication, and outstanding academic achievements of our students. Invitations will be sent to the parents/guardians of award recipients to join us in honoring these accomplishments. We look forward to celebrating our students’ successes together as a school community.
Parent Information Evening – Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:15 PM
This evening is an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn a little about their classrooms, and begin building a positive home-school partnership to support your child’s success.
As teachers have only recently met your child, the evening will focus on introductions, classroom routines, and an overview of the year ahead. Teachers will still be getting to know your child and building relationships. More detailed information about your child’s progress and achievement will be shared later in the term.
Teachers will offer brief 7–10 minute presentations at the following times:
6:00 | 6:15 | 6:30 | 6:45 | 7:00
Parents/Guardians are welcome to choose which teacher presentations they would like to attend based on their child’s schedule.
All Grade 7 and 8 teachers will be located on the 3rd floor.
Bring a copy of your child’s timetable, including teacher names and classroom locations.
Student helpers will be available to help you find classrooms and navigate the school.

The meeting will be held during our Parent Information Evening on Thursday, September 17, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 150.
This is an opportunity for parents and students to learn more about the itinerary, travel details, and how to register for the excursion.
Student fees support student programming and include the cost of the yearbook.

Meal Delivery
Food delivery services, such as Uber Eats or Skip, are not permitted on school property. They pose logistical problems and privacy concerns. Deliveries will be turned away from the main office and the deliverer will be asked to leave the property.
Final Assessments – Exams and RSTs – School Year Calendar:
Grade 9 - 12 students’ examinations and Rich Summative Tasks (RSTs) WILL NOT be rescheduled for holiday or travel convenience, and all appointments should be scheduled so as not to conflict with exams and RSTs. If a medical problem arises, a Vice-Principal must be contacted prior to the exam or RST. Medical certificates will be required to permit alternate arrangements for final examinations.
Students and Parents/Guardians can refer to the OCSB website for the Grade 9 - 12 calendar. These calendars identify the first and last day of school, PD days, Statutory Holidays, Board Holidays, and High School exams.
